COMFORT THROUGH COMPASSION

The Shabtai Levi Home in Haifa, Israel, is a haven for vulnerable mothers and children, providing them with safety, care, and essential resources. In these challenging times, the ongoing war has intensified the anxieties and fears of the families in our care, as alarms and shelters dominate their daily lives. Together, we must step forward to address their immediate needs.

From anger management workshops to help mothers cope, to music therapy for children overwhelmed by stress, to ensuring safe transportation for dedicated staff, and replacing essential provisions for children, your generosity can make a world of difference.

"We do everything within our power to take care of the mothers and children that we are responsible for. As a result of the ongoing war, it is difficult for the mothers to stay inside the unit all the time without going out for some fresh air and because of the situation in Haifa and all the alarms, we ask them to stay near the shelters. We all understand that we have to go through this period together, with all the uncertainty and fears it brings. Below please find a list of urgent needs that we hope are generous Canadian community will see it in their hearts to donate to."
